Dainik (दैनिक - "daily") collects the numbers people in Nepal actually look up each day and puts them on one page: what a phone costs, what today's date is in Bikram Sambat, where NEPSE closed, what the dollar is worth, what vegetables are going for at Kalimati, and what the weather is doing.

Where the data comes from

Nothing here is invented. Each figure is aggregated from a public source and refreshed on its own schedule - Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market for produce, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations for bullion, published daily bank rates for foreign exchange, NEPSE for the stock index, established Nepali outlets for headlines, and authorised distributor price lists for phones and motorcycles. Every page names its own source and says how often it updates.

What Dainik is not

It is not a newsroom, a broker, or an advisor. Headlines link out to the publishers who wrote them. Market figures are informational and can lag their exchange. Prices are what was last advertised, not a quote - always confirm with the seller before you pay.
